Temple Baptist Church was established in September 1949 and after sixty-nine years of ministry, we continue to move ahead.
For parents of infants:
- Our nursery has been updated with all new furnishings that are up to code and safe for infants.
- We are proud to inform parents with yourng children and youth that we have a Child Abuse Prevention Policy in place to protect our most vulnerable attendees.
All infant, children, and youth workers must meet the following requirements:
- Have a nationwide background check.
- Have at least three verifiable character references other than family and friends.
- Undergo special training on how to identify potential threats and protect from pedophiles.
- Be a member in good standing for a minimum of six months.
- There are a number of rules that govern the care and contact with children.
- We take the safety of children very seriously and have a zero tolerance policy concerning any inappropriate behavior.
