Shoebox Ministry
In 2019, over 280 churches in the Foothills Region (Alexander, Burke,

Caldwell, Catawba) participated in Operation Christmas Child and
collected 27,435 shoebox gifts. That’s 27,435 opportunities to share
the Good News of Jesus with children around the world! This is a
critical part of the more than 10 million gifts that were collected
worldwide. Every shoebox gift, which becomes a Gospel Opportunity, is
so important. We can all be encouraged to know that through the gifts
collected in all shoebox sending countries, a total of more than 10
million hurting children will receive a gift, have the opportunity to
hear the Gospel, and many will have the chance to connect with a local
church for on-going follow up and discipleship through The Greatest
Journey.



This year, we want to have a special celebration to encourage your
church and community members across the Foothill Region. We will be
holding a Community Celebration to rejoice in the work the Lord is
doing through the simple shoebox gifts being packed right her in the
Foothills.

Please join us on March 15th, 2:30-4:00 at Day 3 Church in Granite
Falls, to celebrate along with other churches and community groups who
also have a passion for reaching children in the Name of Jesus.
